OK, we never knew that bunnies were prodigious savers; always thought they engaged in other activities with, um, incredible zeal. But if a frugal animal character can inspire fiscal rectitude in children, why not? It's the approach of a business school alum, a former financial advisor and present entrepreneur, who employs Sammy the Rabbit in kids' books and at appearances to try to counteract the spend-spend-spend mentality so surrounding young folks through the media and society. How about habituating them, instead, to save? Sammy's part of the "It's a Habit" startup company that tries to raise youngsters' consciousness about being more financially literate and savvy from the earliest age.
