Gas consumption in Southern California? Down. Use of mass transit? Up. Regional obsession with better ways to get around? Never higher. So, of course, put it on the calendar that May 11-16, Pasadena will see a preoccupation with "fantastic, fun and free" bicycle events, including a mayoral ride around the Rose Bowl, a Ladies Night in a major shopping area and a Pedal Party to wrap things up. It's the brainstorm of Cyclists Inciting Change through Live Exchange (C.I.C.L.E), a group that hopes to persuade one and all that biking can save money, improve the environment and individual health and well-being. This nonprofit's up to lots of other stuff, including workshops, info on cycling routes and connecting with other like-minded activists.

Very useful! thanks
