There'll be weeks of celebrity-studded celebrations this fall in honor of the 100th birthday of Peter F. Drucker, the late, legendary author, thinker and management professor. With events in New York, Southern California and Vienna, a stellar group of academic and corporate leaders have agreed to chair the centennial celebrations. And the speakers scheduled at various events, as announced Tuesday, include: former President Clinton, former GE CEO Jack Welch, economist Jeffrey Sachs, management guru Ken Blanchard, leadershp guru Warren Bennis, Irish philosopher Charles Handy,author and leadership expert Stephen Covey and best-selling author Jim Collins. A Who's Who of global corporate leadership also will participate in various ways in honoring Drucker.
