What can homeowners do now to protect themselves from the aftermath of the ravages of the deadly Station wildfire, the worst such blaze in Los Angeles County history? The supervisor of the Angeles National Forest will tackle that topic and talk about lessons learned and the continuing damages and mitigation in the wake of the blaze that killed two firefighters, burned down more than 100 structures and charred 250 square miles. Questions since have been raised about the budget-strapped Forest Service's early response to the fire's outbreak. The Thursday afternoon program is free but space is limited and reservations are recommended.
