Due to Americans' voracious consumption of goods and debt in the last decade, the Chinese, already a third of the world's population, now hold huge stakes in the U.S. economy. And as if that and their ascendant nation already didn't demand greater interest and American attention, well, the Chinese are just up to some interesting changes, as an online, student-driven Trojan publication documents. Take, for example, the rapidly changing attitudes in China about homosexuality, a topic once taboo but now growing in acceptance across the Mainland. 'US-China Today,' with reporting, photography and video, paints a more complex view of contemporary China's more tolerant take on sexual orientation.
